An overview of the ConfNetwork service

On the right you see your profile completeness. This motivates attendees fill out their full profile.

Matches

You can get a list of all attendees, or only see those who match what you need and provide.

The slider, next to the profile photo, indicates how well you know a person. This ranges from "not at all" to "speak to him/her on a daily basis". You can "star" people to bookmark them for future reference.

With the slider you build your network. It's used to identify your first and second degree network. This helps ConfNetwork in finding appropriate matches and letting you know who can introduce you to these matches.

Address book

By uploading your address book ConfNetwork will tell which attendees you already know. It's used to determine your first degree network. This is also useful to get back in touch with people you haven't seen for a while.

Profile

This is an attendees full profile. It shows his/her name, company, title, website address, etc. The "needs" and "provides" give an insight in what the attendee is looking for and has to offer. It's also used for the matching of people.

The "Experience", "Contact me when" and "Introduce me to" tabs share more information about the attendee.

The profile also acts as a dashboard for your communication with an attendee, and shows who of the people in his/her network are attending.

In a nutshell: provide them with excellent networking possibilities & tools to discover new people.

Privacy, our top concern

ConfNetwork is as open as possible without sharing sensitive information. Contact information is only shared if an attendee wants to.

This creates a trustworthy environment, allowing attendees to communicate and connect freely without concern of being spammed. Just to be sure, messages can be marked as spam.

How it works

Attendees buy a ticket online and receive an invitation for ConfNetwork, usually a week before the event starts.

After accepting they fill out their profile, after which ConfNetwork starts the matching process. Attendees can contact each other, without disclosing their e-mail address.

Building a community

Building a community takes time and requires people to trust "the system". ConfNetwork continuously uses new data (people, address books, needs/provides, etc.) to optimize the matching process.

Get your network up and running in 10 minutes

You can use the same network for the same event over and over. Every time you organize a new edition of an event you can reuse the existing network. All attendee information is still available. And your attendees can see who was at your event last time.

Your network grows with every edition.

Big event

Your attendees can't talk to everybody. ConfNetwork helps them make a selection in minutes by finding appropriate matches, also when there are hundreds of people.

Small events

Make your attendees feel at home immediately. By inviting them to your network they know who is coming and what the other do. They will have the feeling of being acquainted before the event has even started.
